My best friend is coming tonight to visit from out of town, so I've been cleaning all day, getting ready anticipating seeing her after so long. So, it's already been a good day, but it feels much more complete after some time listening to God's promises.

Jeremiah 17:7-8

"But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leave are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."

1 Thessalonians 4:14 &16-17

"For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him...For the Lord Himself will come down from Heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."

FREAKING OUT so good.

I can't even think of anything to add.

This is real life! I'm so excited about being in Christ now, living with Him, that I can know He is always with me and loves me.

This is real life, I can't wait to be with Him forever and ever.

Come, Lord Jesus, Come.
