Day 76: Breathing Love

"You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world."

I think I really like 1 John, I didn't know how much until this project. He has a lot of really great one-liners.

"This is how God showed his love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."

Christmas is about love. Tangible, messy, breathing love. God as a fetus, a baby, a son, a man. God on our level. God intervening BIG TIME. God saving. Christmas is about the most embodied instance of love.

Lord, may I abound in love. May I grow to love more and more those You have put in my life.

Lord, may it come from a place of the knowledge that You love me through and through. Through and through. May I know it through and through.
