Genesis 37:1-38:30

Matthew 12:22-45

Psalm 16:1-11

Proverbs 3:27-32

"You are my Lord; apart from You I have no good thing."

"Lord, You alone are my portion and my cup; You make my lot secure.

The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord."

"I keep my eyes always on the Lord.

With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken."

Life is unfair, it's hard, it's exhausting, it's full of sufferings...but we have a faithful, loving, good, good Father in Heaven. Whatever injustices, whatever tragedies, whatever heartbreak we must bear in this lifetime is bearable...because we have Jesus with us and because it is not forever.

Jesus has set the limit. He has told evil it can only go so far. "The boundary lines have fallen" and for me, it is in "pleasant places." For Heaven is near, near, near.
