Psalm 40:1-10
Proverbs 10:11-12
Today again I return to the idea that "nothing is impossible." Jesus expects his disciples to know this. When they see a crowd of 5,000 men not including women and children Jesus expects them to understand that He can miraculously feed them all with just five loaves of bread and two fish. He tells them to feed the people! Jesus walks on water in front of them and calms the storm too. Nothing is impossible! And Jesus expects faith.
Maybe these particular circumstances seem random..but the idea is that every single day we are presented with opportunites to help someone, witness to someone, do the right thing, proclaim the gospel, carry our cross, etc. and maybe sometimes it feels impossible. Maybe sometimes it feels like too much for us to handle.
But we have to believe that nothing is impossible and if God has placed us in a circumstance where we can see clearly what Jesus would do, we have to believe we can do it!
