2 Kings 13:1-16:20

Acts 18:23-19:41

Psalm 146:1-147:20

Proverbs 18:2-5

Today reading felt like homework. Too many errands to do, too many things on my mind, too many things to plan and coordinate, it felt like the same...another errand, another thing on a to-do list.

God is so patient. If I haven't seen that enough in my own life already I see it in the Kings books. He is so patient. And He is so patient with me as I read Kings bored.

He is patient because He doesn't keep me from learning, He doesn't give up on me. He still speaks, even when I'm too bored to hear. He speaks, even when my brain is too tired to listen. I have no reason to complain, but I do, and yet He still loves me.
